Well, if you have just added a signature picture or anything, u can't see it in your previous posts, but if you make a new post, then bam there you have your Signature.

I've had that at lots of forums

If you look under the box where you type your posts, you have a tick box saying

'show your signature'

If people post without having this box ticked, then they will not have it displayed. This is why I like to add signatures before posting on vB forums.

That wasn't the point though. I don't know if old posts when you didn't have a signature are updated when you actually add one, or if you don't have anything in your sig, there's that line there by default...
