Good serie, a bit overrated, but hey i don't mind.
People gets confused with what genre this is, so i'll keep it simple: mecha with lots of influences of other genres

Is this series completed? Because when it was aired in the Philippines I think it was not finished... How many episodes are there in this anime?

I enjoyed it a lot. Heard there was going to be 3 more movie type additions, been waiting on those for a long long time. Also, a live action movie was spoken of, but no new news on that one either.

I had watched the series on Adult Swim in English. The way the last episode ended was both interesting and slightly frustrating. I liked the series a lot though. One main thing about it that I found interesting was that it seemed like it went into an idea of the complexities that human thinking..used to have. Also that what were called angels seemed to have a version of judgment of what was best for mankind that most would find cruel.
I believe you can find the Evangelion movies online, though I'm currently a bit confused on which order they are supposed to go in.
