This time I didn't bother putting up a thread for it. Seemed kind of pointless until I saw how long the new forum lasted.


So... yeah. The first series, Mai-HiME was light years better than th second series Mai-Otome which supposedly took place in an alternate universe-y way. The fanservice.... which I check off the list first..... was decent in HiME, but not quite as good in Otome.


If you wanna really get into the series, check out the manga.... both of them. It goes into much better detail - in the mangaka's own words - about how things work .

Mai-otome's second manga release, Mai-otome Arashi, was interesting. I suggest checking that one out too...... [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] .
