Greetings all,

The powers that be have decided to bring in a new policy to protect the site and you, the members.

As you all know, recently we sadly banned our first member and as such new orders need to be put in place to ensure the best for the site under circumstances that result in a ban.
Hence the new policy came about:

"Ban Discussion Policy"
This policy states that if a member is banned, two weeks of forum-wide discussion into the ban and its circumstance, causes and evidence is allowed. After this two week period is over, all discussion, both shoutbox posts and forum posts (in any section) are not allowed. Breaking this policy may result in a formal warning or infraction as the situation requires.
Private messages to Administrators about the subject may be allowed under the following circumstances:

1. Ongoing issues with the banned member
Eg. Allegations of: corruption, misuse or improper use of power in the forum. This option is for clarification of our stance and issues, not for accusations or scare-mongering.

2. Information for personal safety
Eg. New members may use this option for their own protection and wellbeing on the site to stop any banned members using them for their own means, be they information, contacting members or ongoing vendettas.

Replies are entirely by the Administrators decision, if you questions are not answered, it is because we don't believe they fall under the above categories.

This policy is for your wellbeing and forum enjoyment. Neither us nor you want an unpleasant issue to be revisited again and again.

This may sound very unnecessary, however the Administrators feel that is is better these systems be put in place before they are needed rather than after.
